Requirements:
· B.S. in Accounting or Finance.
· 3+ years experience in Finance or Accounting capacity in a manufacturing environment.
· Strong analytical skills
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to interact well with people at all levels of the organization
· Strong desire to make positive changes and develop process improvement initiative.
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and MS Access.
· SAP experience preferred but not required.
*** You will be heavily involved in Kaizen events, Lean Manufacturing techniques, Product Process Improvement, Supply Chain Management, and other initiatives conducted in order to create a best practices environment.***
Responsibilities would include but not limited to:
· Product/ Cost Analysis – Provide financial and cost support for all manufacturing. Analyze part costs, assist in strategic sourcing decisions, assess vendor and shop tooling spending requirements, identify scrap/rework root-cause, identify and track cost reduction opportunities, and establish part target costs to support cost objectives. Provide ad-hoc product cost data and reports as required by various customers including respective Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, and Manufacturing Operations Part Centers. Assist other team members prepare and report monthly analysis reports, which compare actual cost versus target cost for parts, and manufacturing centers.
· Part Targets – In conjunction with Manufacturing Operations budgets goals and objectives, assist in the planning and development of the part cost targets. Analyze process rejects, assess and maintain visibility to engineering changes, and test data for accuracy and integrity.
· Operating Management – Support efforts required to prepare quarterly forecast data. Assess business conditions which affect material cost, labor cost, volume, cost reduction, etc.
· Special Projects – Contribute on a variety of teams and/or independent assignments designed to simplify/streamline the part costing/targeting process and/or program cost reporting.
