Our client needs an individual with strong Microsoft Office word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills to support the contract reconciliation team and provide general administrative support.
Tasks Include:
Review contract documentation and validate funded amounts are recorded correctly in accounting and entitlement systems for each line of accounting
Review invoice documentation and reconcile to disbursement data in the accounting and entitlement system
Identify discrepancies; perform reconciliation and analysis, and access contracting, accounting, and entitlement systems to identify the cause of discrepancies
Prepare and staff packages for correction of discrepancies; track and validate that corrections have been processed timely and correctly and fixed the problem
Assist the Finance and Accounting Division with presentation of financial data, progress, and performance metrics information for briefings and other presentations
To qualify, candidates must possess 6 years of experience in performing business and/or accounting management tasks for commercial/government organizations. Strong Microsoft Office word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation skills are required. The ideal candidate would have experience with DoD accounting systems, MOCAS, EDA, SPS, and DCAS/CERPS. A BA/BS degree is required.
