Title: Sr. Financial Cost Analyst

Our client, a leading defense contractor, has an immediate need for a Sr. Financial Cost Analyst supporting the Air Force. Secret Clearance is required for this position.
On a day to day basis, the employee will directly support the Air Force Fleet Viability Board [FVB) Survey and Assessment Team. Works directly with FVB staff members to research, gather, and integrate appropriate cost and pricing data to develop O&S cost estimates for 5, 10, and 25 years in the future for AF aging aircraft fleet. Assists the Air Force in understanding cost risks and projects the cost of continued sustainment of each Mission Design Series (MDS). Develops cost estimates using parametric analysis and AF cost tools such as Air Force Total Ownership Cost (AFTOC), Cost-Oriented Resource Estimating (CORE), PRICE and SEER. Documents analysis/assessment and provides a report and/or briefing to the AF FVB and other government officials for approval and dissemination. Prior experience should be in the development of Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) as well as Air Logistics Center experience with depot maintenance, supply management, and product support (program offices).
Candidates must have a minimum of ten years experience in Air Force budget and cost estimating. Candidates must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets and experience in developing Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs) and estimates based of various methods, such as analogy, engineering, parametric and expert opinion.
Experience using Air Force cost estimating tools to include Air Force Total Ownership Cost (AFTOC), both Static Product and On-Line Analytical Processing (OLAP); ACE-IT and associated tools; and Crystal Ball is highly desired. Demonstrated experience with the Air Force Cost Analysis Improvement Group (AFCAIG) element structure, as it applies to the analysis of AFTOC data and the development of cost estimates, is highly desired.
Demonstrated use of cost estimating tools to include Cost-Oriented Resource Estimating (CORE), PRICE (H, S, M), and SEER as well as Air Logistics Center experience with depot maintenance, supply management and product support (program offices) is desired.
Must possess a thorough knowledge of statistical techniques, applied mathematics, along with understanding of engineering disciplines. Must be able to communicate effectively with the AF customer.
