Senior Fundraising Director - Heart Walk

We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Fundraising Director - Heart Walk in our St. Louis office.

The Senior Fundraising Director - Heart Walk is responsible for the overall execution of the Start! Heart Walk fundraising strategies which are directed toward corporations in the St. Louis metro area. Manages and mobilizes CEOs and Presidents from top corporations as volunteer chairpersons to raise funds. The campaign responsibility is approximately $1,700,000.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Supervises 4 team members
  • Guides and directs team to achieve revenue goals
  • Directly solicits corporate dollars for sponsorship
  • Engages and cultivates corporate leaders toward establishing recruitment and monetary goals
  • Account penetration
  • Identifies corporations, conducts research, and implements cultivation strategies
  • Recruit teams within companies
  • Build relationships with key corporate leaders through frequent face-to-face meetings according to the Start! Heart Walk business model and timeline
  • Identifying new sources of income


The successful candidate will have:
  • BA/BS or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ years experience involving fundraising or outside sales
  • At least 1 year supervisory experience
  • Communication skills should be pristine
  • Must be a self-starter with excellent leadership, team-building, project management, networking and communication skills
  • Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a background check


The salary is up to $70K with potential incentive bonus and comprehensive benefits package.
