The Senior Graphic Designer performs professional visual communication applied to print, web and corporate graphics.

DUTIES:

• Create design concepts from conception to completion.
• Determines format, artwork, photography, paper type, colors, typeface, typesetting specifications, ink selections, size, and finish.
• Creates illustrations, digital output, line drawings, sketches, and related art work.
• Performs digital imposition.
• Coordinates printing.
• Utilizes desktop publishing equipment in developing graphics.
• Creates site design, banners and online marketing, web development and design.
• Image retouching, outlining, shadows and manipulation.
• Maintain own computer files in an orderly manner.
• Ability to meet deadlines without compromising quality results.
• Work cooperatively in groups as a team.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or technical school; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Superior knowledge of InDesign, Quark Xpress, Illustrator, and Photoshop.  Must know MS Office.  Experience in Flash and HTML a plus.
