Job Description
HealthSouth's corporate headquarters in Birmingham, AL is currently looking for a qualified candidate to join our Information Technology Group in the role of Senior IT Administrator - Data Network.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing ongoing maintenance, configuration, design, and implementation of the data network infrastructure, managing service providers for prompt problem resolution and maintaining/troubleshooting data circuits, managing and maintaining site-related documentation, assisting with network planning and network engineering, and producing progress, problem and status reports, as required by management.

Qualified applicants will have strong working experience in large LAN/WAN environments, working experience with Cisco Systems, Brocade Networks, Hewlitt-Packard, Bluecoat/Packeteer and Juniper/Netscreen networking hardware, working experience with Cisco wireless networks, excellent working knowledge in routing protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, TCP/IP, IPSec, and excellent working knowledge of ATM, VPN, Frame Relay, T1, DS3, OC3, and SONET.
