Position Description: Positions in this function are involved in the development, communication and implementation of the organization's technology architecture and applications plan, including the components required to support it and in the integration of corporate and business architectures and applications. Responsible for coordinating, administering and supporting activities related to data planning, data recovery and development and related projects. Includes all types of IT business architects as well as IT technical architects.
Qualifications: - 1+ years of modeling experience to include business, process, requirements, applications, software, data and technology
- 1+ years of Insurance or health service industry experience
- 3+ years of experience working as business analyst, systems analyst and/or IT architect
- 1+ years of demonstrated report creating capabilities including the use of tools such as Cognos, Crystal Reports, and/or other SQL oriented reporting tools
Assets: - Demonstrated knowledge of UHG IT applications landscape and business process
- Experience analyzing and normalizing strategic information
- Experience with Enterprise Architecture tools (BPM, rules engines, EA tools)
- Knowledge of UnitedHealth Group software application portfolio and development methodology
- Functional expertise in the application of computer systems to solve business problems (e.g. Systems Thinking, Information Systems Knowledge)
