Senior Inorganic Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Independent inorganic data review (ICP-MS, ICP-AES, Mercury, Cyanide, and classical nutrients) with little or no overview prior to submission to customer. Proof reading of data entered into ELEMENT/LIMS system. Preparation of accurate and error-free data summary case narratives, forms, and reports. Communicate effectively with EPA task monitors and co-workers. Coordination of data audit, data entry functions with data review group leader/clerical staff. Conduct all office, laboratory, and field activities in accordance with established ILS and EPA safety protocol. Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude. Other duties as requested.

Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree with > 10 years in analytical chemistry, a Master’s degree ≥ 8 years in analytical chemistry, or PhD in Chemistry with ≥ 6 years in analytical chemistry. QA/QC skills. Word processing and data processing skills by PC. Excellent communication skills. EPA Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) Statement of Work (SOW), EPA SW846 methods,  EPA Inorganic Data Review National Functional Guidelines (NFG). Environmental inorganic data review. Technical writing and method development.
