Senior Internal Auditor

Conducts audits for management to assess efficiency of operations, effectiveness of controls and accuracy of financial records.

• Execute audits and consulting engagement to evaluate effectiveness and efficiency of processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Assists with development of annual audit plan, department calendar including time budgets and audit programs.
• Provide technical accounting/auditing support related to emerging issues.
• Executes global Sarbanes-Oxley compliance plan.
• Review Sarbanes-Oxley test work performed by business process owners; ensure consistency and integrity of test work.
• Address internal control deficiencies including formal written communication, group meetings, issue resolution and follow-up.
• Reviews work performed by staff auditors.
• Provide training and mentoring to staff auditors.
• Performs duties consistent with the company’s AAP/EEO goals and policies.
• Performs other duties as required/assigned by manager.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 2-4 years private industry or public accounting experience with project planning and management experience preferred.
• CPA, CIA preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task.
• Proficient with computers.
• Strong oral and written skills.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization.
• Some travel required.
