Senior Java Developer
COMSYS is currently seeking a Senior J2EE Developer with a strong web services background for the following role:
Strong web services development on a J2EE platform with architecture/design and development expertise in the following:
-- Core Java,
-- JDBC
-- J2EE JSP
-- Servlets
-- EJBs
-- JMS and MQ Messaging
-- Java Web Services
-- Java Design Patterns
-- Spring, Hibernate, Struts, MVC, OO Model concepts, UML modeling, OOAD, XML, XSLT, DOM and SAX Parser, AJAX, JavaScript, HTML, DHTML, CSS, ANT, Log4J, Perl, Shell scripting
-- Oracle 9i+, Weblogic 8.1+, Apache Tomcat.
The candidate must also have:
-- Experience with performance testing/monitoring and tuning J2EE applications
-- Experience with various tools including JProbe Memory Debugger, Rational Rose and LoadRunner
-- Experience with version control systems ClearCase and CVS
Preferred skills:
Web services development experience with Axis 2.0 and Spring/hibernate is preferred.
Platform and Skill Set Expertise:
Web Development : Java, XML, JSP
Middleware : MQ Series, WebSphere, WebLogic
