Senior Java Software Engineer

Job Description

Modis is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the metro Detroit area.

Contract to Hire Role.

 

Required Skills:

  • Will act as a mentor to our development staff  
  •  5-7 years experience Java development and J2EE
  • Relational database (MySQL, Oracle or other)
  • Experience with HTML, XML, CSS
  • Exposure to Ruby/Rails and/or OCP is a plus
  •  Exposure to JSON, Ajax a plus

 

Preferred Skills:

·         E-commerce experience

·         Work in an Agile/Scrum environment
