Senior Laboratory Technician

Assist environmental personnel in ensuring that operations are within permit limits and measuring environmental impacts to all environmental media and sensitive receptors. Review sampling, chemical analysis and other testing procedures. Review, update and follow all requirements of the laboratory QA programs. Data storage and retention. Procurement of all lab supplies and equipment repair services.

Highly developed technical skills and in-depth knowledge of chemical principles and theories. Ability to perform all chemical and physical testing procedures in assigned Lab areas. Train and assist lab technicians in the performance of their job. Must have a clear background and pass drug screen. Reliable transportation is a must.


An understanding of laboratory equipment and computer systems.Understanding of basic chemistry, laboratory equipment and procedures. Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or other related science. Experience may be substituted for the degree.
