Senior (Lead) Information Assurance Engineer

Job Description

This role requires professional technical systems and project completion skills and abilities for conducting vulnerability analysis on products and systems.  These analysis include researching known vulnerabilities and modifying existing vulnerabilities.  This role is responsible for planning, designing, developing systems to verity security configuration. Typical titles may include Lead Information Assurance Systems Engineer, Systems Assurance Design Engineer, Senior Information Assurance Engineer, etc.  With technical latitude, positions at this level perform technical work tasks in support of customer programs and have a significant impact on business goals and objectives.  Must have experience developing/writing POAMs, IATTs and very knowledgeable of the DCID 6/3 requirements.  Frequently interacts with senior management.  They require extensive working knowledge of their functional discipline and basic knowledge of customer relationship management typically received through a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, and / or 10 plus years of related experience, with 7 plus year’s direct experience with security network design and 5 plus year’s direct hands on experience in IA Network Engineering.  Experience with DITSCAP, DIACAP; SSCP and CISSP certifications a plus.  Advance degree preferred.
