Desired Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a Senior, Lead or Hands-On Management Role for a Company that Develops, Sells and Supports Software and Systems Utilities in the areas of Back Up, Restore, Disaster Recovery or Similar.
- Must Have Hands-On Experience with C Programming, preferably on a Windows Platform in a 64-bit Environment.
- Should also be knowledgable with Core Java and C++, hands on Core Java and C++ is a plus.
- Experience Managing a Small Team of Software Engineers that do a combination of New Development in addition to Enhancements, Bug-Fixes, Patches and ongoing Continuing and Sustaining Engineering.
- Experience Working in a Cross Platform Development Environment (Linux, Unix and Windows) and building Software that is meant to run on Linux, Unix and Windows.
- Must Be willing to work in a Senior/Lead Role with the intention of being 'groomed' into a more senior level management position while remaining technically hands-on.
- Must Have Experience Mentoring, Training, Guiding and working very closely with junior and mid-level developers in a small team environment.
- Excellent Verbal Communication Skills are Required.
