Senior Logistics Specialist

Description:
Position Summary:
Responsible for compiling metrics for R&A, scanning, KPI and ER for both home delivery and builder channel distribution. Monitor and define improvements for inbound deliveries to both 3PLs supporting home delivery and builder channel, as well as builder channel distribution centers. Assist Mgr-Home Delivery/Builder Channel Distribution with project management of builder channel distribution initiatives

Accountabilities:
oCompile R&A data and prepare stack rank for analysis
oCompile weekly KPIs for home delivery networks
oMonitor daily dwell at agents and determine necessary actions to reduce
oCompile weekly KPIs for 3PL sites for builder channel operations
oAddress inbound logistics issues
oEvaluate inbound metrics and define corrective actions when necessary
oManage job site direct routing log and invoice comparison
oDefine and document SOSs for logistic functions to support builder channel operations
oProvide analysis for all movements to secure least cost service, without compromising customer expectations.
oDevelop models of improved efficiency and potential cost savings
oAssist Mgr-Home Delivery/Builder Channel Distribution with project definition and implementation of builder channel initiatives
oOther duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
oProven analytical skills using standard PC tools
oProven experience crossing functional boundaries
oPossess good verbal and written communication skills
oPossess excellent customer service skills
oAbility to prioritize and work under pressure
oAbility to travel as required

Education Requirements:
oB.S. or equivalent preferred
oKnowledge of MBCI operating systems desirable
oWell developed interpersonal skills
