Role:
This position is responsible for the integration of and support for Active Trader (AT) offers, tools and business development initiatives across the Retail Sales & Service channels. The function will define, propose and influence the overarching Retail Distribution channel roles and responsibilities, client experience and business model to help drive the AT business and other business results. The function will also be required to recognize broad business risks and opportunities for Retail Distribution, taking proactive steps or propose plans to mitigate/capitalize within and across the organization. Individual will be responsible for developing recommendations and obtaining approval from Retail Distribution senior management, as well as gaining alignment with stakeholders across all relevant functional areas.
Responsibilities:
Partnership and coordination with internal stakeholders from Active Trader (AT), associated businesses and other internal stakeholders to help develop offers and business development strategies that help increase AT business, Retail Distribution and TD AMERITRADE overall results.
Development of communication, training and overall integration of Active Trader offers or other initiatives across the Sales and Service organization.
Development and integration of channel delivery strategy and supervision/controls needs.
Development and implementation of Retail Distribution ongoing support strategies or tactics to drive sustainable success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree in business, marketing or related discipline a plus.
A minimum of 10 years experience working in the financial services industry, retail brokerage experience strongly preferred, front-line sales and service experience a plus.
3-5 years experience in product development, channel marketing, business development or related areas.
Strong knowledge of retail brokerage trading and client needs, industry and market dynamics.
Strong strategic mindset, combined with demonstrated ability to translate strategies into concrete results.
Demonstrated influencing and negotiation skills, individual must have the ability to engage and motivate teams with resources who are not direct reports.
Superior verbal and written communication skills; ability to develop concise and effective communications tailored to the specific audience, including experience interacting with senior management level executives.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage detail while not losing sight of the big picture.
