ICF International seeks a Senior Manager-Army Leadership Research to work in our offices in Leavenworth and Overland Park, KS. The Senior Manager will play a strategic role in developing our growing client projects in the field of leadership performance and development research-to-practice for the Army and other clients. Senior Manager's at ICF International are required to have subject matter expertise and be recognized as leaders in their field; the successful applicant must demonstrate significant research experience blended with a track record of bringing in and managing new business opportunities.

The Senior Manager would be responsible for:

Writing winning proposals for DoD, federal and private sector clients
Developing learning theory applications to enhance leader development
Managing a team of Research Associates.

Ph.D. in the behavioral sciences such as I/O Psychology, Organizational Development, Sociology or Measurement required. In-depth knowledge of Army organizational structure, mission objectives, function, procedures and policy are essential and prior experience working with Army personnel (commissioned officers, NCOs, warrant officers, and Army civilians) is required. Candidates with direct active Army experience preferred. US Citizenship is required. The successful candidate will have at least eight years experience, ideally within a consulting environment. Senior Managers must have a track-record of successful client and proposal development, project management and experience managing a team of researchers. Evidence of publications and technical reports and strong statistical and analysis skills are strongly preferred.
