As the global eyewear leader with 5,800 locations in North America including LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut and Eye Med managed vision care, Luxottica Retail is looking for a Senior Manager - BI to work on a managed vision care project.

Duties

• Responsible for the management of;
  • Development of BW/BI deliverables in all phases of the systems life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation and support
• Leverage new and existing technology in solutions that add value to the business
• Develop tightly integrated solutions for assigned areas
• Participate in major upgrades of systems and software tools
• Coach, guide and mentor existing associates
• Participate with external system integrator for program
• The IS Insurance ECC 6.0 version is being implemented along with the latest versions of BI/BW, XI/PI.

Qualifications

o        BS in Business or Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience

o        7+ years IT related experience

o        3 years experience in BI and experience with proven success with data modeling and design

o        Experience creating custom cubes

o        Experience in working with data extractors

o        Deep knowledge and implementation experience with data warehousing

o        Management position for 1-3 years

• Able to effectively communicate technical concepts to technical and non-technical team members and systems users
• Prior management experience

Plus Factors

o        Experience with Business Objects

o        Retail experience preferred

o        Depth of knowledge regarding SAP application development tool set and technical infrastructure
