Senior Manager, Corporate Development/New Business

- Drives the development of growth strategies for specific divisions or product lines for RSA, including mergers and acquisition and other investment decisions
- Reports directly for the Vice President of RSA Strategic Planning, Corporate Development and Strategic Alliances, but works intimately with the relevant business stakeholders to develop, refine and execute the specific strategies and new business initiatives
- Leads due diligence team that are cross-functional in nature to assess the viability of new business opportunities including product line expansion, strategic alliances, joint ventures, equity investment and acquisitions
- Directs the development of complex financial and business models used in assessing the potential viability of new business ideas and is responsible for managing the critical business assumptions used to drive the model
- Prepares presentations for executives audience and board members that follow a logically reasoned, data-supported approach, allowing executives to understand the detailed analyses in context of the overall business case and GTM model
- Supports the negotiation of process for formal agreements and contracts with external parties to support new and emerging business models including licenses, partners, M&A targets and even third-party vendors
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MBA desired
- 6-8 years in technology industry working in Corporate Development, Strategic Alliances, Investment Banking or M&A
- Experience in a Fortune 500 company or Wall Street firm is desired
- Must have proven experience analysis and evaluating P&L of potential targets
- Project management skills and ability to provide weekly monthly reports to senior management.
- MUST have exceptional presentation and analytical skills.
- Superior leadership, organizational, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
