Senior Manager Customer Programs

About the Job

Successful candidate will be responsible for service definition, design, maintenance and ongoing support of business and customer-facing communication services delivered from IT.


 


Key to the success is effective overall operations and support of secure network infrastructures and data exchange between customers, corporate offices, and manufacturing facilities.


 


Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):



  • Serve as the primary IT point of contact and subject matter expert for scalable customer connectivity design and delivery services with North America Government Programs.

·         Work with design and implementation teams to support Network Infrastructures – LAN/WAN Switches/Routers/Firewalls, Frame-Relay/MPLS, VPN related components (site-to-site and client-based), define and execute lifecycle maintenance model, monitoring / alerting models or other infrastructure management services required to insure high quality support of customer facing operations.



  • Information Technology strategic planning in support of customer-facing and internal services that align with business objectives and vision.

  • Establish and administer IT budget, corporate policies, and standard operating procedures

  • Oversee vendor relations and contract negotiations, as needed

  • Project and Program Management Expertise

  • Ability to build and manage cross-functional and cross-division teams

  • Oversee Network and Systems Engineering teams responsible for:

·         Network hardware recommendations and purchases, architectural design and implementations, and coordinating/establishing connectivity with customers


·         Corporate Network Security


·         Customer Operations, Manufacturing, and Support Infrastructures


·         Microsoft Virtual Server (Hyper-V) Administration and Support


 


Qualifications, Education and Experience:



  • A Bachelor's degree, MIS. Masters degree preferred.

  • 10+ years progressive experience with at least 3-5 focused on defining & delivering service direct to customers.

  • Design and / or architecture experience. 5+ years experience in the Information technology management area with at least 3 of those years in a leadership role.

  • Strong network experience (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).  Enterprise level knowledge of distributed computing concepts including principles of network routing.

  • Previous services consulting experience a plus.

  • CISSP & PMP preferred

 


The successful candidate will be able to perform in a fast paced, high energy environment; have a commanding customer presence, well organized and detail oriented. Good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) a must.
