Successful candidate will be responsible for service definition, design, maintenance and ongoing support of business and customer-facing communication services delivered from IT.
Key to the success is effective overall operations and support of secure network infrastructures and data exchange between customers, corporate offices, and manufacturing facilities.
Essential Job Functions (includes but is not limited to):
· Work with design and implementation teams to support Network Infrastructures – LAN/WAN Switches/Routers/Firewalls, Frame-Relay/MPLS, VPN related components (site-to-site and client-based), define and execute lifecycle maintenance model, monitoring / alerting models or other infrastructure management services required to insure high quality support of customer facing operations.
· Network hardware recommendations and purchases, architectural design and implementations, and coordinating/establishing connectivity with customers
· Corporate Network Security
· Customer Operations, Manufacturing, and Support Infrastructures
· Microsoft Virtual Server (Hyper-V) Administration and Support
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will be able to perform in a fast paced, high energy environment; have a commanding customer presence, well organized and detail oriented. Good communication skills (written, verbal, presentation) a must.
S/he should be a strategic thinker with the ability to implement.
