Senior Manager - Supply Chain Finance

StarKist Co. is searching for a Senior Manager - Supply Chain Finance to join our headquarters located in Pittsburgh, PA.


The duties of this position are (but not limited to):



  • Lead the financial and analytical review of the Supply Chain organization and recommend improvements through insightful, advanced financial modeling.
  • Ensure improvements to the Supply Chain organization are properly executed in market and in accordance with financial projections.
  • Develop detailed recommendations surrounding any and all Supply Chain projects and analyses.
  • Manage detailed financial reviews and recommendations while functioning as the head liaison between Finance and Supply Chain operations.
  • Provide regular, ongoing budgeting and forecasting support by preparing the Supply Chain portion of annual and quarterly forecasts.  Includes high level bridging of information between fiscal periods and forecasts.
  • Work with Accounting, Operations, Procurement and Logistics to understand variances to plan.
  • Provide daily, weekly and monthly updates to senior management through both formal presentation and ad hoc discussion.
  • Manage monthly close process with the Accounting department.
  • Ensure all financial statement items pertaining to Supply Chain operations are accurate.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE/COMPENTENCIES:



  • 8-10 years of overall professional experience in Supply Chain Finance, with 5 years supervisory experience.
  • BS in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
  • Experience with integrated manufacturing systems.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Access and Excel required.
  • Demonstrated prior success in achieving results using team driven philosophies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in supporting corporate interest from remote site locations and ability to communicate and exercise very positive people skills.
