Sr. Mechanical & Design Engineer (Satellite Antenna)
Summary: This is a dual function roll which Designs and Directs installation of mechanical or electromechanical components, products, or plant systems.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities include the following:
1. Design and development of various stages of standard product design.
2. Redesign existing components to improve company products.
3. Mechanical design using 3D CAD software.
4. Development of 2D manufacturing prints and other product documentation.
5. Oversight of prototype manufacture and build.
6. Specification and procurement of materials.
7. Coordination of special suppliers for new parts.
8. Entry of parts into PRMS database and creation of product structure (BOM).
9. Provide guidance for manufacturing in construction of Routers.
10. Conduct training of personnel.

Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
1. Legal Authorization to work in the US on a full-time basis for anyone.
2. Perform all duties in a professional, productive manner, with emphasis on our Quality, Safety, and Business Ethic’s Policies.
3. Bachelor’s Degree plus 10-15 years experience in a relevant field or a combination of lesser formal education and additional work experience.
4. Demonstrated competency in use of the Solidworks 3D design platform and application of fundamental and elevated principles of mechanical engineering and design practices as pertains to industrial equipment of a electro-mechanical nature.
5. Experience employing Adobe Indesign or similar software to document technical products required.
6. Familiar with MS Office software and corporate working environment.
7. Capable of working independently with inputs from multiple sources while completing assignments.
8. Working knowledge of Satcom Industry.
