Our client, an award winning and innovative multi-disciplinary engineering consulting firm has an immediate need for a senior level Mechanical Engineering Project Manager in its NYC office.  This internationally acclaimed firm has offices across the country and is known for imaginative thinking, high client service levels, resourceful application of new technology and innovation.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead HVAC design on a variety of projects
• Lead a team of approximately 10 engineers
• Interface directly with clients
• Develop project proposals and budgets
• Mentor junior staff
• Prepare technical reports/specifications

Qualifications:

• At least 12 years experience designing mechanical systems for building projects
• Experience in the design of air distribution systems, hydronic systems, automatic temperature control systems, cooling/heating load and energy calculations, construction administration
• Strong working knowledge of building and energy codes
• BSME
• Professional Engineering license (PE)
• LEED AP is preferred
