Children's Medical Center Dallas, a Magnet designated facility, is the primary pediatric teaching facility for the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Children's is the only academic hospital in North Texas dedicated exclusively to the comprehensive care of neonates and children from birth to age 18. 

Children's is seeking a Senior Medical Technologist for our Dallas Campus in the Lab Department.

Description:

This position is located at our Dallas Campus and is responsible for ensuring the integrity of specimens received for testing, performing laboratory tests, reporting test results, and completing equipment maintenance and quality control functions.  Functions as team lead for the night shift. 

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Chemistry, Biology, or Microbiology is required plus a minimum of three years of experience. Must have at least 3 years experience in a general laboratory environment. ASCP or equivalent certification as a Medical Technologist.  MT (ASCP) certification is required.  Good leadership skills required.
