Senior Mortgage Lender
About the Job
Oversee sales and development of mortgage loan department
and team members at all locations. Work with originators,
processors/closers to assist them in qualifying loans and keeps
them informed of underwriting practices and procedures;
maintains expert knowledge of compliance guidelines with an
emphasis in Freddie Mac and/or Fannie Mae.
? Responsible for mortgage loan production within the bank
and loan production through solicitation efforts outside the
bank
? Monitor reports on all areas of responsibility to assure
timeliness of production.
? Review and analyze loan processes and applications for
department.
? Work directly with loan officers in all bank locations.
? Call on potential and existing customers and real estate
agents soliciting residential mortgages.
This position requires a Bachelors degree in Business with an
emphasis in Lending or Finance; equivalent work experience
would be considered and prefer individual with 5 years related
experience. Extensive knowledge of the complete mortgage
loan process from origination through loan servicing is
required.
Applicant must possess solid judgment, strong attention to
detail, analytical abilities, the ability to organize and prioritize
workload, excellent verbal/written communication and
interpersonal skills. Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.
