We’re looking for ambitious, driven, self-starters who want to be on the leading edge of developing technology and the social media evolution.   This position is located in Bellevue, WA.

Responsibilities:

·         Configure and maintain Demand Media production and corporate networks.

·         Assist with administering and maintaining network infrastructure.

·         Perform and assist with network design, network capacity planning, monitoring, reconfigure, and tuning of network hardware.

·         Configure and install new network equipment

·         Help maintain network hardware/software up to date.

·         Maintaining current network configurations backups.

·         Working with NOC in monitoring network health

·         Participate in on-call schedule.

·         Participate in off-hours changes to address service outages and scheduled upgrades.

·         Perform and document network operation processes and procedures.

Requirements:

·         3+ years exp. with Juniper Equipment (Firewalls & M series routers)

·         3+ years exp. with Ethernet switching

·         3+ years exp. with F5 BigIP (6400 series)

·         5+ years exp. with routing

·         Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and verbal/written communication skills. 

·         Must work well with people both in and out of the group.

·         Have experience with most LAN and WAN architectures including Ethernet, Spanning Tree, ISL, and Point-to-Point circuits.

·         MS Visio

·         Understand routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, HSRP, and network based ACL’s.

·         Experience with network management platforms and protocols such as SNMP, RMON, MRTG, Cactii, and NetFlow.

·         Exp. with sniffing software (tcpdump, ethereal, etc..) a plus
