Senior Network Engineer
Description:
West Corporation is enhancing its multi-talented Network Design team with a Sr. Network Engineer that has strong network design skills to identify and analyze network requirements. This position can be located in one of these locations: San Antonio TX, Omaha NE, or Boulder/Longmont CO.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum 3 years network infrastructure experience required. Minimum 1 year project coordination experience preferred
Other: CCNP or equivalent certification required; CCIE preferred
Technical Knowledge: Hardware - Switches, routers, CSU/DSU; Software - Unix, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, Windows OS, IP Telephony, network management systems, and network analysis; Network design on large scale networks required; CISCO and multi vendor experience
Education: Associates degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or related field is required. Bachelors degree in computer science, information systems, electrical engineering, computer engineer or related field is preferred. Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements
