We have an immediate need for a Senior Network Engineer


Responsibilities:
Engineer, author, and execute network changes to install MPLS and MAN solutions to an existing enterprise network in support of the Information Systems Account.



Duties: Analyzes, defines, and proposes solutions to install and adapt MPLS network architectures onto an existing production network. Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing detailed engineering documentation, CLI configurations, Visio architectures and diagrams. Recommends hardware and physical requirements to support network infrastructure changes. Tests and validates infrastructure changes before client inspection. Travels to client sites to facilitate hands-on installation and configuration of network hardware. Participates in daily project meetings and client briefings. Provides timely post implementation briefs. Interact with cohorts and clients in a professional and courteous manner.

Provides expert technical support and oversight in the planning, design, and operation of global, internal or external highly complex data or voice communication systems including Local Area Networks (LANs), Wide Area Networks (WANs), or Voice Networks.

Skills/Qualifications: WAN Architect or Design Consulting Experience Expert Required Protocol knowledge MPLS, BGP, EIGRP Expert Required Cisco IOS configuration and troubleshooting Expert Required Excellent documentation skills Expert Required Excellent presentation skills Expert Preferred Experience with High Availability architectures Expert Preferred CCIE certification or equivalent
