Senior Network Voice Communications Analyst

Description:
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Network Voice Communications Analyst. Selected candidate focuses on the interaction between computer and communications equipment. Designs voice, video, graphics, data communication and Internet systems. Supervises the installation of the systems, including radio transmitters and receiver, and provides maintenance and other services to clients after the systems are installed.

Tasks
•Design, develop, test, and supervise the development, production and operation of electronic equipment such as broadcast and communications systems, and radios.
•Define requirements, including transmission capacity planning, in areas such as communication, signal processing, and control systems.
•Monitor technology (VoIP) development and make appropriate recommendations to achieve efficiency.
•Enable telephone service via wires and cables that connect customers’ premises to central offices maintained by telecommunications companies.
•Install, repair, and maintain telephone equipment, cables and access lines, and telecommunications systems, including radios.
•Assemble equipment and install wiring.
•Help customers understand the new and varied types of services offered by telecommunications providers.
•Install and maintain radio transmitting and receiving equipment, including stationary equipment mounted on transmission towers and mobile equipment, such as radio communications systems in service and emergency vehicles.

Qualifications:
Demonstrated CCNA level understanding of networking systems and TCP/IP. Strong knowledge of Routing and Switching systems (Cisco or Juniper); understanding of Routing Protocols (OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP) and Gateway Redundancy Protocols (HSRP, VRRP, and GLRP). A working knowledge of STP, VTP and Virtual LAN’s and Trunking (VLAN’s) desired; Network Security (ACL’s, IPSec Tunnels) desired; SONET, MPLS, POS, Multicast and how to properly troubleshoot these technologies. Ability to perform (intermediate level) configuration, testing, and troubleshooting of IP network infrastructure (LAN and WAN devices) to include service restoration, system fault diagnosis, isolation, and resolution. Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills. SRS; Customer Service; sterility/classification codes; IP network technology; Network Security; EFMS; LnL Functionality; HPOV Operation; Cisco Works Operation; SOD Operation; GEMS Operation; Lotus Notes Operation; SolarWinds, SATCOM, Modem, Relay services
