We are currently seeking an Oracle 10g DBA for one of our clients.

Clear, concise, articulate written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Only local (St. Louis Metropolitan area) candidates can be considered for this job.

Requirements:

• Must be able to understand and apply Oracle concepts
  
  
  
  • Minimum 5 years of Oracle experience including
  
  
  
  
  •  high level of system design
    
  • data modeling
    
  • DDL
    
  • generation and tuning of PL/SQL
  
  
  • SQL Analysis and Tuning
    
  • Programming and scripting methodologies
    
  • Database server creation, upgrade and maintenance
    
  • Standby database creation, upgrade and maintenance
    
  • Database analysis, statistics, tuning and performance
    
  • Database backup and recovery techniques
    
  • SQL Plus, SQL*Net and PL/SQL programming methodologies
    
  • Database reorganizations
    
  • Capacity planning
  
  
• UNIX understanding needed
