Accountabilities
Ability to professionally represent AMEC to existing and potential clients. Principal focus is Military Master Planning and master planning related services. Duties include preparation of proposals for project and contract opportunities, with subsequent project management responsibilities. Working with marketing department personnel and assisting in the preparation of marketing materials. Routine travel for both marketing and project management execution. Serving as project manager including budgeting, scheduling, directing subordinates and other team members, setting priorities for multiple projects and tasks, and communicating with superiors and clients. Supervising multi-discipline planning teams. Defining and executing the project work program. Quality control of all work products prepared under their direction. Strong communication skills and demonstrable interpersonal skills required. Able to function effectively in team environment. Able to provide clear direction and assist junior level planners with project tasks and career development.

Knowledge
Proven knowledge and experience with planning principles, policies, and programs at the local, state, and federal levels. Knowledge and/or experience with GIS and web-based planning programs. Experience with Department of Defense projects and preparation of SF 330 proposals a plus.

A minimum of 5 years of related expereience with increasing responsibilities.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in planning, geography, or related discipline. Master’s Degee is desirable. AICP certification is highly desirable.
