CrunchTime’s Development group is seeking a Senior PowerBuilder Developer to support and enhance our industry leading enterprise management application. This position requires a strong background in Object Oriented Design.  A successful candidate will exhibit a high level of self-motivation and independence while working in a team environment.  The candidate will be expected to contribute to the evolution of PowerBuilder development processes as well as support other teams at CrunchTime!. Additionally, there will be an opportunity to cross train in Java and participate in porting the application to Java. The technical requirements are important, but so is the ability to fit into our team environment.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on client server development with PowerBuilder.
• Strong SQL knowledge.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Solid unit testing skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot software defects, identify the root cause and propose a solution efficiently.
• Ability to work with QA Engineers to get new development and defects completed.

 Also:

• Demonstrated ability to handle/organize multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
• Experience with PL/SQL.
• Experience with Java and J2EE is a plus.
