This role is seeking an experienced Sr Process Engineer to own Manufacturing Technology Development and Transfer across our multiple production operations, and drive process expertise across multiple Beauty product forms. Responsibilities will include significant hands-on expertise while leading remediation/improvements of existing processes, demonstrating proof of principle for new developments from pilot plant operations and scaling up across internal / external production operations within North America. Opportunities exist to develop new process and modelling methodologies to build mastery, while creating partnerships / networks across multiple business units and global partners. Significant technology thought leadership.is expected with multi-functional collaboration and effective communication with key stakeholders will be essential to ensuring technical readiness on the right solution and success in market. Seen as a highly visible role to sustain core technologies while creating the next generation of products.



What we offer

Develop project scope, maintain and report on manufacturing process changes, driving ‘Best in Class’ strategies
Assist in development of staffing and capital plans for manufacturing processes and equipment.
Evaluates potential safety and environmental hazards with new raw materials or processes
Creates experimental order protocols and supervises trials at plant sites throughout NorthAmerica
Problem analysis and planning for improving core production processes in critical measures(reliability, quality, cost)
Use Process Modeling software, and create Computer Aided (CAD) and Process &Instrument Drawings (P&IDs)
Strong planning, project management and organization skills - and works well in teamsituations
Strong problem solving, writing and presentation skills (incl. technical reports)
General awareness of chemical unit operations and manufacturing processes
Use statistical methods for design of experiments or process improvement (incl. FactorialDesigned Experiments, Taguchi Methods)


Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field (Chemical Engineering preferred)

  • 6+ years of experience in pilot plant/ scale-up roles

  • Technical mastery in Beauty products including bar soap, liquid hand soap/sanitizers, body wash, deodorants / anti-perspirants (stick, roll-ons, aerosols) along with hair and colorants

  • Manufacturing and/or R&D (including pilot plant) environment is desirable

  • Application with liquids process scale-up, statistical process control

  • Working knowledge of mechanical / electrical engineering principles

  • Background in FDA compliance processes highly preferred

  • Experience in leading process execution and drive strong engagement with technical teams for investment planning & timeline development
