Senior Product Engineer - lead new product development for high profile, high-end brand

This position offers you the opportunity to drive new products from concept to production for a brand synonymous with high quality and elegance. Our main manufacturing plant is located adjacent to our offices, providing you with first-hand insights as you develop new products such as for our latest venture -- intelligent locks. You will contribute to and often lead cross-functional product development teams, providing engineering input on everything from designing to testing to sourcing to manufacturing. To be a good fit for this opportunity you will be required to have a BS in Engineering, ideally Mechanical, significant product engineering experience (5+ years), and strong organizational skills. Just as important as your technical expertise will be your interpersonal and leadership skills, including your ability to influence and motivate others in a matrix environment. Experience in SPC-based quality systems is expected and a yellow or green belt in Six Sigma would be a plus.
