The Senior Product Marketing Manager will be responsible for growth, profitability and working capital requirements for a category of products. They will also be responsible for managing vendor relationships and identifying new/enhanced products, determining their value to the organization, and participating in the marketing of products and the category.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
- Develops and executes annual and strategic plans for a category of product, including financials, growth and promotional programs, competitive analysis, customer segmentation.
- Manages vendor relationships, including contracts, product assortment, growth programs, and communications. Identify new product and vendor offerings.
- Develop and execute pricing, mix and margin strategies. Analyze data and metrics to gain deep understanding of the market, customer and product segments.
- Support field sales staff with growth and promotional programs, training opportunities, vendor communications, and resolution of transactional issues.

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree
- Minimum 7 years experience in the intrusion/security industry
Additional Qualifications
- Bachelors in marketing preferred
- Ability to provide strategic leadership, direction and development for the US Intrusion category
- Experience managing vendor portfolio, category management, and pricing policy; including managing vendor relationships and contractual agreements.
- Ability to support field sales with special pricing, inventory positions, vendor relations and product issues
- Ability to manage strategy and execution of key industry trade shows including ISC West.
- Experience generating tactical and strategic category roadmaps and detailed plans, including annual & 5-year plans.
- Ability to drive improvements in inventory management processes, including SIOP (Sales, Inventory, Operations, Planning), forecasting, IOS (Inactive, Obsolete, Surplus).
- Experience developing and driving integrated growth programs across all sub-categories, using data mining and other tools to target appropriate customer segments.
