Senior Program Manager

The Senior Program Manager will lead the project and program management function for the Core Development Division in New York.

Responsibilities:

• Provide program and project management support to the Core Development Chief Product Manager and
  
  
• Core Development Regional Manager
  
  
• Contribute plans for New York based programs and projects to the overall Core Development Plan
  
  
• Manage project teams of 25-50 resources across all phases of the project life cycle
  
  
• Gather necessary skills and resources to ensure success of all projects
  
  
• Manage client expectations and balances the needs of the company and clients to ensure satisfaction for both
  
  
• Run the end end-to to-end process for work prioritization for New York- based development
  
  
• Establish and execute plans for software development projects within the overall Core Development portfolio of projects
  
  
• Ensure documentation is produced and filed in accordance with company standards
  Maintain procedures to ensure quality of deliverables in accordance with company standards (incorporating SAS70)
  

Qualifications:

• 5 or more years of program/project experience managing medium-large sized projects within the financial software product industry
  
  
• Experience planning and executing a 50 person software development program
  
  
• Project management experience in a software product development or software house background
  
  
• Ability to manage competing demands of different groups
  
  
• Attention to detail and eagerness to ensure that projects are completed effectively
  
  
• Creative approach to resolving issues
  
  
• PMP certification or Six Sigma highly desirable
