SUMMARY:

 

Apply technical expertise to the design, development, and support of application systems used by the business. Employ standards defined by the department and consistent with those used in industry and applicable regulations. Other tasks as assigned.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

                                   

1. Analyze, design, construct, test, document, and implement new computer systems using department and industry standards in an efficient and accurate manner to meet specifications and comply with regulatory and compliance activities.
2. Support, document, and enhance existing computer systems as requested in accordance with the applicable standards.
3. Assist in developing standards in accordance with current technologies and apply those standards to all programming activities. Standards are developed considering the compliance requirements for applicable industry regulations.

 

 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

 

Essential:

 

·         Four-year college degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent business experience. Professional certifications considered.

·         Four years experience minimum as a software developer.

·         Proficiency in VB.Net, MS SQL 2005, XML, ASP

·         Good oral and written English language communications skills.

·         Knowledge of structured programming techniques.

·         Knowledge of web environments and user interfaces.

 

 

 

Desired:

 

·         Knowledge of Oracle, Web Services

·         Knowledge of project life cycle activities.

·         Experience in retail industry or E-Commerce.

·         Understanding of compliance requirements for Sarbanes Oxley and PCI.

·         Knowledge of Ecometry

·         Knowledge of Appworx
