The Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), main offices located in center city Philadelphia, invites seasoned Electrical Engineers, (Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of six years responsible engineering employment experience and PE) to apply for a current available position within the Power Engineering Department. A diverse scope of projects will hone your technical skills within Traction and Signal Power. You will be involved in projects covering the City and Suburban Transit Divisions and Regional Rail Division. You will also be working on SEPTA’s `Go-Green’ projects exploring alternative energy systems such as solar power. 

The Senior Project Engineer will generate conceptual, preliminary, and final design and costing of projects as directed by senior level supervision. Will also have responsibilities in preparation of budgets and cost estimates for projects and work performed in house and contracted to a third party. Field investigations are also part of the job responsibilities
