Specify, plan, direct and participate in the design and development of electronics test systems for the development and production test of Space Power Processing Electronics products. Creation of test equipment requirements, detailed design and test procedure development as required. Lead engineers and technicians in test equipment development. Design and develop new test systems and ensure design/documentation maintenance of heritage test systems.

30% - Responsible for overall success of the requirements design, implementation, validation and release to production of test systems and tools for use in testing High Reliability Space Electronics.

25% - Support and improve current electronics test systems and test processes.

25% - Provides support for proposals, requirements definition, development plans and manage the projects to align with the plan.

20% - Responsible for identifying resource requirements, and delegating tasks to engineers in accordance with the plan, budget and design.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS:
Other duties as assigned.

Requires a BSEE and 5 years of experience in Aerospace Electronics Test Engineering, and a proven track record for the development of test systems. Experience in detailed specification and design of test systems including analog, digital, and software elements. Proven success in managing projects to requirements, budget, and schedule. Ability to work effectively with program teams and test engineers. Applicable experience with space electronics test systems, vacuum chamber equipment, and data acquisition systems is preferred. Requires U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residency, or other status as a U.S. Person.
