JOB DESCRIPTION: A major chemical company needs a Sr. Project Engineer for its facility in KY. Job duties include:

·      Responsible for all aspects of Capital Projects at the facility.  Task include: Problem Analysis, scope development, cost estimation,            preparing Authority for Expenditures (AFE), writing and submitting contract bid packages, preparing drawings, issuing material requisitions, construction supervision, and start-up assistance.

·      Projects to be handled will include work in both continuous and batch processing operations.    

·      Corporate and plant standards as well as standard engineering codes will be used in the design of all equipment and systems.

·      Monitor project cost schedules and time-line performances to insure that all projects are accomplished within time and budget constraints. 

·      Will also be responsible for handling multiple projects simultaneously.

·      Work as Project Manager extensively to leverage outside professional engineering services to manage the work load.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

·        BS Chemical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering.

·        At least 7 years of experience in a chemical industry which involved process handling hazardous chemicals which includes 4 years of Project Engineering experience.

·        Proven leadership skills and ability to manage multiple projects.

·        Ability to grow upward within the company.

·        Good computer skills are a plus.
