Senior Project Engineer

Kohler Co. a world-class manufacturer of exceptional kitchen and bath products, engines and power generation systems, distinguished furniture, and renowned for luxurious hospitality businesses is seeking to add a Manufacturing Engineer at

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
· Under the direction of the Spartanburg Plant Superintendent this
position will be responsible for process improvement and project engineering projects including automation projects throughout the operation.
· This position requires a high level of technical skill in the areas of
process design, process analysis, automation equipment application,
automation system design, tooling, and materials.
· This position will also be involved as a team member in the material
selection/optimization, product designs, and tooling used in the
operation.
· Interpret product performance requirements and identify key inputs in the
manufacturing process.
· Develop process control documentation measurement systems and tracking
of key inputs.
· Define equipment specifications and material and operating parameters to
achieve desired process outputs.
· Define and document the bill of materials and routings for the process.
· Drive performance improvements utilizing Lean Manufacturing methods.
· Actively participate in New Product Launches
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS - WHAT YOU NEED TO QUALIFY
· Bachelor’s Degree from an ABET accredited school in an Engineering field is required, preferably in Mechanical Engineering.
· Robotic (preferably Fanuc) and PLC experience is preferred.
· Master’s Degree in technical field is a plus.
