Senior Project Manager-Civil Construction

Tetra Tech is a major U.S. and International Consulting, Engineering and Construction firm. As a major USACE and DOD service provider, Tetra Tech is expanding our capabilities to support the USACE New Orleans Hurricane Protection Program.

Tetra Tech seeks several strong Project Managers capable of managing large fast track civil projects.

Candidates should have a minimum of 20 years experience in the construction industry. Should have experience in all facets of civil construction including structural piling, sheet piling, shoring, dewatering, concrete work and earthwork. Experience performing work in similar soil conditions is a plus.

A technical degree in Civil Engineering or Construction management is preferred. Experience should include managing $20 Million or greater civil construction projects. A proven track record of successfully executing projects on time and on budget is required. Candidate should have demonstrated capability of managing multiple subcontractors and staff to achieve project objectives. Good communications and reporting skills are necessary. A strong understanding of schedule and budget management is required. Candidate is expected to exhibit strong commitment to safety. Candidate will be expected to take extended or permanent assignment to the Greater New Orleans area.
