Keys:
Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from four-year college or technical school; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ideal candidate will have more than 10 years schedule development experience. Relevant experience must be in scheduling of engineering programs/projects; not production scheduling.
Proficient with MS Project (required) and Excel.
Must have experience in the high tech engineering environment.
Aerospace industry experience is highly preferred.
Must have experience in budgeting.
Ability to summarize data from financial database and to generate earned value and variance reports
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects/tasks.
Ability to use logic and common sense to determine most effective and efficient method of completing critical action items.
Ability to work independently and interact professionally with Project Managers, team leaders, and engineering staff.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Job Summary:
Works with project teams to produce project schedules. Directs project plan updates on a monthly basis and provides team leadership (Project Managers and Executive Officers) with updates to allow for efficient project execution.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
o Integrate financial data into project schedule
o Develop project schedules for new tasks (as required)
o Maintain existing project schedules on a monthly basis
o Integrate and maintain all projects into overall OTI master schedule (tier 1)
o Initiate monthly updates for each specialization showing tasks for their team
o Provide individualized team member project schedules monthly
o Provide feedback to the Project Manager on changes made to the schedule to assist in identifying impacts/risks
o Provide composite work schedules quarterly and monthly across multiple projects for manufacturing, procurement,
and installation.
