We are currently seeking a Senior Quality Assurance Analyst for our Hillsboro, Oregon, office.

Individual will be an experienced and knowledgeable QA professional within the organization and will lead directly and by example

 

Performs semi-routine tasks under minimal supervision, to develop, apply, and maintain quality requirements for customer implementations. This engineer will develop, implement and maintain QA test plans and test cases, automation scripts, reports, and procedures. He/she will have the ability to lead groups (1-5) of QA Engineers in testing efforts.  A continual, effective advocacy for Continuous Quality Improvement is a mandatory attribute of this position. Knowledge of business procedures, practices, and profitability is required.

 

The candidate will also support the definition and delivery of software quality assurance objectives (e.g. improve testing effectiveness and efficiency, software development life-cycle design, the identification of software metrics and tools, improve and documents group policies.

 

·         Influence spans internal to QA and across other Fiserv departments

·         Has a major impact on project and product quality factors and customer satisfaction

·         QA, Development, and Technical Support strategies, processes, and procedures are influenced by this person

·         Works under minimal general supervision, often setting own goals.

·         Works independently with QA Lead best practices in place.

·         Supports and Maintains lab environments.

·         Communicates effectively in all forms to all audiences.

·         Performs cross-functional duties without guidance.

·         Executes test cases, analyze report results makes recommendations for improvement as a result.

·         Supports QA efforts during pre and post implementations.

·         Supports major quality initiatives that may span multiple departments.

·         Advocates for improved quality practices throughout the organization; synthesizes new methods with measurable positive changes to company operations.



Job Requirements:

Requirements:

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience.

·         5+ years of experience in software quality assurance testing.

·         5+ years of experience in the computer software industry, preferably in new product development

·         Expert in testing and QA Methodology (Black Box, White Box, Regression, Negative, Boundary, Stress, and Performance).

·         Requires working knowledge of in multiple areas of Microsoft systems, office software, and web technologies including HTML, JavaScript, ASP, HTTP, .NET, and SQL.

·         Software application proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, and various browsers

·         Working knowledge of OFX testing, Automation, and Performance testing tools.

·         Knowledge of software program trouble shooting

·         Familiarity with online banking and other e-enabling financial services products/services

·         Knowledge of banking or online banking features is required

·         Basic understanding of distributed web-based application architecture/product structure.

·         Ability to accurately gather, analyze and interpret data, identify and define problems, and make recommendations for resolution.

·         Effective time management and organizational skills are required.

·         Must be analytical, meticulous, and have a high attention to detail

·         Solid written and oral communication skills.

·         Client management and relationship building skills; experience with external clients preferred.

·         Proven ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships.
Must be willing to travel as required.
