Senior Relay Protection & Control Engineer



Description:
Rapidly expanding company in the distribution and transmission of electric power to major utility customers is seeking a senior relay protection & control engineer with high voltage transmission project experience (through 500kV). Experience serving or working with utility companies a must. Preparing and delivery of the projects will include 1 and 3 line diagrams, schematics and wiring diagrams, relay settings and calculations, control and relaying panel layouts and specifications, SCADA system and communications interfaces including RTU's, HMI's, and IED's; along with auxiliary system design.



This position is located in Charlotte, NC, and relocation is available.


Requirements:
*8 to 10 years of experience working as an engineer or designer in the power distribution and transmission industry


*Effective planning, organization, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities experience


*Experience working with utility company customers


*Coaching and mentor experience


*Minimum of BSEE


*Preferred PE license
