Job Summary

Infrastructure Architect - Software Development

Responsibilities

Accurately track time against multiple projects
Create accurate detailed diagrams of intended solution including all firewall's and ports, load balancing, server type and location per security zone.
Work with Business Engagement team to understand requirements and create cost estimates prior to project launch
Work with project managers and application teams to collect detailed requirements to create the System Architect Plan document which includes diagrams, port lists, server details
Be a champion for our standards and practices. Produce the most secure, most cost-efficient solution that will deliver the needed performance for the business unit

4 or more years Server infrastructure (Client a plus)
4 or more years Windows (2000, 2003, 2008, 2008R2 and Windows clustering technologies), Linux (RedHat 5, RedHat 6.1), or Solaris (v10)
3 or more year Active Directory experience
3 or more years working with data center applications in an audited environment (SOX/PCI/HIPAA)
2 or more years experience with VMWare
Strong design skills (to show logical connections between different parts of the infrastructure)
Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
Travel requirement, may need to travel to data centers in Boston and Colorado potentially once a week, depending on location
