Job Description:

The Sales Consultant will be responsible for generating revenue that aligns with SDLC core values and service offerings by managing existing and establishing new accounts designated by the Principal Partners of SDLC. The role will involve establishing and maintaining relationships with key managers and executives of the determined accounts. The Sales Consultant will work closely with the Principal Partners, and the Senior Leadership team to manage client expectations and develop new business for SDLC.  

 

Job Qualifications

5 + years of experience directly selling consulting services to large and mid size publicly and privately held organizations. Candidate must possess the proven ability to interact with all levels of a client organization inclusive of Senior Management as well as effectively work within an SDLC pursuit team for large account management.

 

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a willingness to learn, as well as an understanding of technology consulting and how to effectively align services with client needs.  Must also be a team player with a positive attitude, who can also work independently and set own priorities and tasks.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Generate revenue that aligns with SDLC Partner’s core values, core mission, and business model by supporting existing clients as well as establishing new clients.
  • Work closely with Principal Partners and leadership team to develop strategic account plans and client meeting strategies
  • Lead and/or support pursuit teams in the creation of solutions and delivery of proposals.
  • Work closely with the recruiting and leadership team to communicate sales pipeline and resourcing delivery approach.    
  • Develop new and extend current account relationships with clients as requested by the Principal Partners.
  • Become familiar with and manage the client vendor management programs within assigned accounts.
  • Participate in Quarterly Employee Meetings and other Staff Meetings as requested by the Principal Partners.
  • Lead or participate in Community based projects and activities at the Principals request that build the “SDLC Partners” brand and image in the marketplace.
