Our client, a leading provider of enterprise supply chain solutions to the government, is looking for a Senior Sales Executive to join their growing sales organization.
This position is an East Coast-based role. Our client offers a competitive base compensation with uncapped earnings potential.
Responsibilities:
- Resonsible for selling enterprise to clients, prospective clients, and channel partners for the purpose of generating sales revenues and related contracts
- Responsible for achieving territory sales quota
- To identify and develop an in-depth understanding of each sales prospect, their buying and organizational influences, and their decision-making processes
- To attract clients to the unique technology our client offers through combinations of marketing efforts such as industry trade shows and telephone and in-person client meetings
- To remain current on industry trends and competitive knowledge
- To source opportunities for further account penetration within existing clients and channel partners
- To identify client expectations regarding deal terms and contractual processes
- To liaise with appropriate corporate resources regarding contract terms, statements of work, master service level agreements, etc.
Specific Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- Experience selling enterprise software to the state/local government is a must have
- Experience selling SaaS solutions is highly preferred
- Experience selling to CFO/VP of Procument decision makers
- 5+ years of direct sales experience in information systems/business-to-business technologies
- A proven and verifiable track record of lead generation and qualification, account penetration, growth, and revenue recognition is required
- The ability to interact with all levels of management, customers, and staff in a professional and diplomatic manner
- Proven and successful sales experience at managing resources and complex, multi-dimensional sales efforts at the customer level and corporate environment
