Provider of satellite entertainment programming to U.S households
Responsible for developing and implementing strategies and plans to promote the sale of DIRECTV products and services to subscribers through national direct marketers.
- Specific duties include dealer management, training, implementation of sales incentive programs, assisting dealers with the sales process and dealer audits.
- Additional duties include corresponding and communicating with dealers and distributors on various issues such as chargebacks and commissions.
Position will require a minimum of five to ten years large-scale professional business-to-business sales and sales/account management experience, preferably in the consumer products and/or electronics/wireless industry. Requires significant experience and a proven expertise in consumer promotions and retail sales. Previous experience with DBS dealers/distributors and a degree in marketing, business or equivalent preferred. Position will be based on the east coast but will require the ability to travel throughout assigned territory; overnight travel 50% of the time with extended work hours and weekends as necessary. In addition, this position requires that you possess a valid U.S. driver's license, favorable motor vehicle record and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage. Individual must have the ability to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement.
