The Talking Phone Book is currently seeking a Senior SEM Coordinator will manage and oversee all SEM marketing efforts for large SEM campaigns as well as supervise a team of Digital Optimization Analysts. In this client-facing role, the Analyst will serve as an expert in optimizing paid search advertising through insights and analysis, and should have strong analytical skills and proven experience managing dynamic and complex SEM campaigns.

The Senior SEM Coordinator will execution and management of large paid search campaigns, supervise and aid in the training of a team of Digital Optimization Analysts, establish budgets, scheduling and benchmarks for search campaigns, perform campaign analysis: Manage metrics evaluation & reporting, as well as optimization recommendations, conceptualize and initiate tests in order to continually improve key metrics (ad copy, landing page, multivariate, CPC, position), provide insight for managing spend and CPCs across engines and keywords to maximize ROI, make recommendations on keyword selection and expansion efforts, implement new technologies, automation capabilities, and/or vendor solutions that enhance SEM efforts, build forecasts based on historical data as part of the planning process for search campaigns, write ad copy and optimize through A/B testing, conduct keyword research to produce optimal click through rates, accountable for timely creation and delivery of accurate work to clients, act as primary day-to-day contact on PPC metrics and insights to the Digital Optimization Manager, provide monthly updates to clients regarding performance of SEM campaigns and communicate regularly with clients to discuss metrics and trends, and above all being positive and contributing toward a fulfilling work experience for all in the Digital Optimization Group.

A BA/BS Degree preferred. Candidate must have 2-3 years experience in search engine marketing. Experienced in gathering insights from multiple data sources and making informed decisions to improve performance of search campaigns. Google AdWords Professional (GAP) certified a plus. Experience with managing large scale performance based PPC campaigns on enterprise level PPC management platforms.

The incumbent/candidate must have a detailed work ethic, be highly motivated, well organized and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of individual customers, as well as all levels of employees. Candidate must have solid time management and written/oral communication skills. Computer skills are required for this position. Mastery of MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint needed. Knowledge of industry research tools including, Clickable and Omniture a plus. Candidate must have strong internal and external customer service skills. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple simultaneous projects and resources are required.
